Pop icon Britney Spears has publicly criticized her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, accusing him of “humiliating” her with claims made in his new memoir. The Toxic singer took to social media to express her anger over Federline’s statements that she had allegedly taken cocaine while breastfeeding their sons.
“I 100 percent beg to differ the way he is literally attacking me in his interviews,” Britney Spears, 43, wrote in a lengthy post on X.
“If you really love someone then you don’t help them by humiliating them.”
Britney Spears described the former dancer, 47, as having severe anger issues that frightened her, claiming his temper was “way worse” than the public realized.
“What scared me was how serious and angry he got, people have no idea, it is way worse than anyone could imagine,” she stated. “Why is HE SO ANGRY… The boy hates me and it is deep anger to literally say the things he is saying.”
The pop star further accused Federline of releasing his tell-all memoir, You Thought You Knew, as a way to make money since he no longer receives child-support payments for their sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.
“No money from Britney for 5 years,” she wrote. “You trying to get paid… your kids are adults it’s a different world now.”
