Pop icon Britney Spears has raised concern among fans after sharing a video on Instagram showing a leg injury she sustained recently.
The singer appeared in the clip dancing in her home while wearing a sparkly pink mini dress and a white bandage wrapped around her right knee.
In her caption, Spears explained that she “fell down the stairs” and hurt her leg, which “snaps out now and then.” The 42-year-old star also appeared to have visible bruises on both arms.
Britney Spears wrote:
“My boys had to leave and go back to Maui… this is the way I express myself and pray through art… father who art in heaven… I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better… and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day!”
Adding further context, she said:
“Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house… it was horrible… it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken, but for now it’s snapped in! Thank u god.”
It remains unclear when her sons — Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19 — were visiting. Britney Spears shares the boys with ex-husband and former backup dancer Kevin Federline, who currently resides in Hawaii with them.
Back in June, the singer had shared a joyful video with Jayden, revealing she had bought him a brand-new Mercedes AMG SL 63 roadster as part of their growing reconnection.
“How long am I going to be in shock?” she posted at the time. “It’s so incredibly crazy, it’s not even funny! I’m blessed! Just please be careful with my heart too!”
