Media personality and religious teacher Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has sparked widespread online reactions following comments he made about how he would respond if his 16-year-old daughter became pregnant.
Speaking during an episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Freeze was asked by his co-host, Ezinne Ugorji (Zinnieposh), what actions he would take in such a situation.
Without hesitation, Freeze said he would encourage his daughter to terminate the pregnancy, explaining that raising a child at such a young age could ruin her future.
When Zinnieposh expressed shock and pressed further, asking what he would do if his daughter insisted on keeping the baby, Freeze doubled down on his stance. He stated that he would “make it very difficult” for her to go through with the pregnancy.
Despite his co-host’s visible discomfort, Daddy Freeze maintained that his position was in his daughter’s best interest, describing teenage motherhood as a major obstacle to personal growth and opportunities.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with many debating whether his perspective was too extreme or a reflection of harsh realities faced by teenage mothers.
