“I hear it’s 3 degrees outside” – Actress Jemima Osunde Bags Third Degree, Earns Master’s in Public Health from UK University

Jemima Osunde Bags Third Degree

Nollywood actress and medical practitioner Jemima Osunde has added another academic milestone to her name after earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health from a university in the United Kingdom.

The Shuga star shared a video from her graduation ceremony on Instagram on Monday, celebrating the moment with her signature humor.

“Stay warm guys, I hear it’s 3 degrees outside 🥶. Of course I had to use a cheeky caption 🤣😂😂😂🤭. A Master of Science in Public Health. My 3rd degree. Forever doing side quests,” she wrote.

Explaining why she continues to pursue academic excellence while thriving in entertainment, Jemima said her love for both fields drives her to keep balancing them.

“Why do I chase academic qualifications and a career in healthcare even with my existing career in entertainment? My simple answer is — why not? I’ve always lived the best of both worlds. I combined the College of Medicine, Idi Araba, with a budding acting career. Combined working full-time for a year in LUTH while still maintaining a career, and now, I have completed my master’s in public health while still being in your faces. Why have one when I CAN have two? I want it all.”

On what comes next, the 29-year-old teased fans to stay tuned, saying:

“What’s next? That’s for me to do and for you to stick around and find out.”

Lightheartedly, she added that her academic pursuits have a playful motive too:

“The other answer is just ‘cause I want to tell my kids mummy has two heads. 😂😂🤣🤣😂”

Jemima expressed pride in her latest achievement and gratitude to her support system.

“VERY proud of myself. Shout out to my friends and family. Shout out to the team that got me ready for my grad ❤️,” she wrote.

Jemima Osunde first earned a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Lagos before proceeding abroad for postgraduate studies.
