Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed her deep love for her country, declaring that she would still choose to be Nigerian in her next life.
Cuppy made the statement on Wednesday in a heartfelt post on Instagram while celebrating Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
The billionaire heiress praised the resilience, joy, and fighting spirit of Nigerians despite the nation’s challenges.
“My home, My country Nigeria is 65 today. Through it all, our people keep pushing, persevering, and finding joy even in the toughest times,” she wrote.
She added that Nigerians were created with strength and vitality:
“God did not rush when He made us. He gave us resilience, spirit, and endless energy. In my next life, I’d still choose to be Nigerian.”
