Former BBNaija star, Ifu Ennada, has opened up about a terrifying chapter in her life — one marked by near-death experiences, memory loss, and an intense spiritual struggle. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the reality TV personality revealed that she endured a year and a half of emotional, mental, and spiritual turmoil, but ultimately found healing through her faith in Jesus Christ.
Ifu Ennada shared that her ordeal began on July 23, 2025, her birthday, when she suddenly lost her memory and could not even recognize her family members.
“It was like my entire life was wiped clean,” she recalled. “But through the Holy Spirit, I did not forget God. I remembered Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the definition of my name in Hebrews 11:1. I prayed and I held on.”
The actress and entrepreneur said she battled depression, exhaustion, and confusion, but credited her mother’s persistent prayers and her unwavering faith for pulling her through.
Describing the experience as something “straight out of a thriller movie,” Ifu Ennada said she believes her journey serves as a testimony of divine intervention and the power of prayer.
After taking more than a year off social media, the former reality star returned to share her story as a message of hope and resilience, encouraging others to hold on to faith even in their darkest moments.
“I faced death, amnesia, and a severe mental breakdown,” she wrote. “But Jesus saved me from it all.”
