Saweetie has broken her silence on fresh allegations made by her supposed former manager, Maybach Mayy, who accused the rapper of financially exploiting her rumored boyfriend, Manchester United footballer Jadon Sancho.
The “My Type” rapper firmly denied the claims in an Instagram Story shared on Thursday, calling them “false, defamatory, and deeply disturbing.”
“The recent accusations made about me are false, defamatory, and deeply disturbing,” Saweetie wrote.
“These claims misrepresent the facts and are solely aimed to damage my reputation. This person never managed me. She was simply introduced to me by family. Her motives are now obvious. I’ll let the lawyers take it from here.”
Saweetie’s post came after Maybach Mayy alleged that the rapper was using Sancho for money and attention. The accuser further claimed that Sancho told her to “take it to the Internet,” sparking the public back-and-forth that has since drawn major attention online.
However, Jadon Sancho has not publicly addressed the situation, and this marks Saweetie’s first direct response to the controversy.
The rapper’s statement also appears to set the stage for potential legal action, hinting that she intends to handle the matter through official channels rather than social media.
This latest drama adds to a string of headlines surrounding Saweetie in recent weeks, including allegations raised by 6ix9ine involving Offset and claims about her personal life.
While fans continue to dissect the feud online, Saweetie’s clear and assertive denial suggests she’s ready to take the issue beyond internet gossip — and possibly into the courtroom.
