Cardi B has once again stirred controversy after defending her decision to keep clubbing during pregnancy, a move that has divided fans across social media.
In a livestream clip shared by Live Bitez, the rapper — who is expecting her fifth child — said she sees no issue with going out at night despite being pregnant. She explained that it’s simply part of who she is, both as an entertainer and a night owl.
“Me and my friends are not the type of friends to go out to dinner, shopping, brunches, vacations… We like to do nighttime sh*t,” Cardi B said. “I’m an entertainer — that’s what I do.”
Her comments quickly sparked debate online. While some criticized her decision, arguing that it’s unsafe for a pregnant woman to be in a club, others jumped to her defense.
One critic wrote:
“Entertainer or not, a pregnant person shouldn’t be in the club. It takes a split second for things to go left.”
Meanwhile, a supporter fired back:
“Y’all always hating in these comments. Be worried about the wrong sh*t. Sitting up behind a keyboard all day just talking!”
Adding to the buzz, fans pointed out another moment in the livestream that raised eyebrows. When one of Cardi’s children asked about going shopping, the rapper told her to ask her father, Offset, instead.
“Did she just tell her daughter to ask her dad to buy her stuff or am I tripping?” one viewer wrote, with another confirming, “She definitely did.”
The viral clip comes amid a string of public feuds for the “WAP” hitmaker, including her ongoing tension with rapper BIA. The two have traded jabs following Cardi B’s “Pretty & Petty” diss track.
In a recent interview, BIA downplayed the beef, saying she has no plans to respond.
“This isn’t even about her anymore,” she said.
“I would be doing a disservice to myself with everything I’ve put into this album, making this about her.”
Whether you call it confidence or controversy, Cardi B continues to dominate headlines — unapologetically being herself, even when it sparks debate.
