Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has stepped in to mediate the ongoing rift between fellow rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, proposing that the duo settle their differences in a boxing ring.
Speaking on Yanga FM Lagos, Zlatan revealed that he is already in talks with the organisers of the Portable vs Speed Darlington boxing event to make the showdown happen in December.
According to the Zanku crooner, both Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez are his friends, and he hopes the bout will help them entertainingly resolve their issues.
“They are my guys. I sincerely hope they resolve their issues. I don’t want that energy between them. For my purposes, I don’t know, but in real life, I don’t like the beef at all. I’m certain they would definitely reconcile and collaborate in the future,” Zlatan said.
The rapper noted that while he understands that rap beefs often generate attention, he personally dislikes seeing conflict between friends.
The feud between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck has dominated Nigerian social media conversations this year. It reportedly started after Odumodublvck boasted that no Nigerian rap project could rival his, which fans interpreted as a jab at Blaqbonez.
The tension further escalated when Blaqbonez released a diss track titled ‘ACL’, mocking Odumodublvck’s Anti-World concept.
Zlatan’s lighthearted proposal now gives fans something to look forward to — a possible December rap boxing showdown between two of Nigeria’s hottest hip-hop acts.
