Television host Frank Edoho didn’t mince words after an X user attempted to drag him into a personal spat during a heated discussion about Nigeria’s security situation.
Edoho had criticised the government for its muted response to the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State, contrasting it with the swift action taken to raid nightlife venues.
He wrote:
“Girls abducted from schools by bandits and the Government keeps quiet, but if it’s to raid Pretty Mike’s club and arrest fun-loving citizens, our security forces become marines and navy seals. What an absolute disgrace!”
The post drew several reactions, including one from a user who resorted to insults, referring to him as a “serial husband” and asking:
“Serial husband, have you paid child support?”
Edoho responded with a lengthy string of laughing emojis, replying:
“Child support? 🤣🤣🤣….”
But the critic persisted, saying:
“Have you paid? I heard you are scouting for a new wyfe.”
Frank then delivered a sharp clapback:
“Your mother applied but I rejected her on the grounds of past reproduction of offspring that grow up to be scumbags like you.”
He later followed up with another pointed response, writing:
“Better to be a serial husband than support a government that watches the killings of its citizens and the destruction of an economy while they do nothing. Blithering idiot.”
Edoho’s fiery exchange quickly gained traction, with many users reacting to his no-nonsense replies.
