Kelly Clarkson isn’t holding back. The Grammy-winning singer and talk show host revealed during her Studio SessionsLas Vegas residency that a former manager once pressured her to get a breast augmentation early in her career — a suggestion she swiftly rejected.
The candid moment unfolded after Clarkson noticed a teleprompter cue that read, “fix boobs.” Adjusting her glittering jumpsuit, she took a pause before sharing the story with her audience.
“I’m just gonna say it,” she began. “I had some d**k manager one time tell me to get a boob job. I was like, ‘Why don’t you get a d**k job? I’m fine with my itty-bitty t**ties! Get out of here!’”
The Since U Been Gone star went on to reflect on the toxic beauty standards and body-shaming that women in the entertainment industry often face.
“Who says that s**t? People say that all the time in this industry. You’ve normalised crazy,” Clarkson said, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Known for her wit, the 43-year-old also joked that the prevalence of cosmetic surgery among celebrities has reached dystopian levels — comparing it to the heavily stylised citizens of The Capitol in The Hunger Games.
“Do you — but don’t make me do you,” she concluded. “I like my itty-bitty t**ties. They’ve served me well.”
Clarkson’s remarks came during her return to the Las Vegas stage after postponing August shows to spend time with her two children while her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, battled illness. He passed away the following day from melanoma at 48.
