BREAKING: NNPCL Slashes Petrol Price to N835 per Liter

NNPCL

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced its petrol price for the third time in December 2025, bringing the cost to ₦835 per liter, down from ₦915.

It was confirmed the adjustment at various filling stations in Abuja on Thursday, marking an ₦80 reduction in the state-owned oil firm’s pump price.

The latest price cut aligns with similar reviews by other major marketers, including MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, who now sell petrol at between ₦739 and ₦865 per liter in the nation’s capital.

NNPCL’s move follows reductions in ex-depot prices by Dangote Refinery and depot owners, who recently lowered rates to between ₦699 and ₦800 per liter.

This latest adjustment comes after previous NNPCL price reductions on December 4 and 10, 2025, reflecting ongoing efforts to align fuel prices with market realities.
