AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic has dismissed rumours linking him romantically with American actress Sydney Sweeney, describing the reports as false.
Speculation had circulated online in recent weeks claiming the USMNT star and the Christy actress were dating, prompting Pulisic to respond publicly.
Taking to his Instagram Story on Sunday, the former Chelsea player wrote:
“Please stop with the made-up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable — it can affect people’s lives.”
He also commented under a post spreading the rumour, adding:
“Fake news guys, let’s stop with the silly rumor.”
Sweeney, 28, was recently linked to former talent manager Scooter Braun after they were spotted together following the premiere of her new movie The Housemaid. The pair were also reportedly seen together at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Italy, with reports suggesting they were “casually” seeing each other.
Meanwhile, Pulisic remains in a long-term relationship with professional golfer Alexa Melton, with romance rumours between the pair first emerging in the summer of 2024.
