Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Shola Allyson says she’s married but not living with her husband.
In a recent Oyinmomo TV interview, the 54-year-old, who rose to fame with the album Eji Owuro, explained that they live separately despite being married. Shola Allyson added that she has never experienced the kind of happiness many describe.
“I’m married, but I’m not in my husband’s house. We live separately.”
When asked if she ever felt genuine love from her husband during the Eji Owuro era, she replied that they had been misled by others; the notion of “happily ever after” isn’t their reality, but she’s done all she could to make it work.
