Nicki Minaj is once again at the center of public discussion following her appearance at AmericaFest, this time due to her candid remarks about President Donald Trump.

After drawing attention simply by attending the event alongside Erika Kirk, the rapper went further by openly sharing her views on Trump and his administration. In recent months, Nicki Minaj has subtly expressed positive sentiments toward the controversial political figure, but her latest comments marked a more direct and emphatic stance.

While seated alongside Erika Kirk — who was recently appointed leader of the conservative organization Turning Point USA following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk — Nicki Minaj was asked about her thoughts on President Trump. Her response quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the event.

She said:

“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our President. I don’t know if he even knows this, but he has given so many people hope that there’s a chance to beat the bad guys and to win […] He’s from Queens, New York, like me. What it has shown me, personally, is sometimes, even at the worst feeling time in your life, you think that you’re never going to come back from it – but you do. Our President shows that, he’s been through every single thing publicly and having to be constantly lied on.”

Minaj continued by praising the broader administration and its leadership, adding:

“This administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them. I love both [President Trump and VP JD Vance]. They’re both powerful men, smart, strong, but both have a very uncanny ability to be someone you can relate to. I can relate to them. I know they’re one of us.”

Her comments have since fueled widespread reactions online, with supporters applauding her honesty and critics questioning her political alignment. As with her earlier AmericaFest appearance, Nicki Minaj’s remarks have kept her firmly at the center of ongoing cultural and political conversations.
