American rapper Nicki Minaj has once again spoken out against the ongoing killings in Nigeria, calling for an end to the violence and demanding freedom for Christians in the country.

The music star took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to share a faith-centered message expressing concern over the continued attacks. In her post, she wrote:

“On Christ the solid rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand. All other ground. FREE THE CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA. STOP THIS NOW.”

The statement quickly generated widespread reactions online, with many users pointing to Nigeria’s persistent insecurity and renewed debates around religious freedom.

This is Nicki Minaj’s second major public intervention on the issue, following her comments during a United Nations–related briefing in November. At the time, she highlighted concerns that Christians were being targeted because of their faith.

During that briefing, the rapper said entire communities were living in fear, with homes destroyed and families displaced. She also expressed appreciation to former U.S. President Donald Trump for helping draw attention to the situation.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Federal Government has continued to dismiss claims that the violence is religiously driven, insisting that the killings are linked to banditry and terrorism rather than faith-based persecution.

Nicki Minaj’s renewed comments have once again placed global focus on the crisis, with many observers hoping the increased attention will lead to stronger international action and improved protection for affected communities in Nigeria.
