US President Donald Trump has disclosed two things his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, strongly dislikes about his public behaviour.
Speaking on Tuesday at the House GOP Member Retreat, the President said Melania disapproves of his dancing at public events and his habit of imitating a weightlifter on stage while discussing transgender athletes.
According to the president, Melania often tells him that such actions are “unpresidential,” describing her as a very classy person who prefers a more reserved style. He recounted how she specifically criticised his onstage weightlifting gestures, urging him to stop what she called “terrible” imitations.
Trump further revealed that his dancing at rallies and public functions also draws her disapproval, noting that she once questioned whether a former president like Franklin D. Roosevelt would ever have danced in public.
Despite his wife’s objections, he is well known for dancing at rallies and other events, often using the moments to entertain supporters or mock political opponents.
