Meghan Trainor has quietly expanded her family, welcoming her third child with husband Daryl Sabara via surrogate.
The All About That Bass singer shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that their daughter, Mikey Moon Trainor, was born on January 18.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” Meghan wrote alongside photos of the newborn. “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, and teams who made this dream possible.”
Meghan Trainor explained that after extensive discussions with medical professionals, she and Sabara decided surrogacy was the safest option for growing their family.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, are already parents to two sons—Riley, four, and Barry, two. Meghan also revealed that the boys played a role in naming their new baby, choosing her middle name.
“We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” she added. “Riley and Barry have been so excited. We’re going to enjoy our family time now.”
Following the announcement, Meghan Trainor and Daryl received an outpouring of love from celebrity friends, including Jimmy Fallon, Khloé Kardashian, and Vanessa Hudgens, who all sent congratulatory messages celebrating the newest addition to the family.
