Nigerian billionaire businessman E-Money has reportedly gifted content creator Peller a brand new Toyota Corolla and handed $5,000 to Carter Efe following the controversy surrounding a damaged birthday gift.
Earlier reports revealed that Carter Efe had allegedly vandalised a brand new car gifted to him by E-Money during his birthday celebration. The incident reportedly occurred during a livestream session with Peller and quickly sparked backlash online, with many netizens describing the act as disrespectful to the businessman.
Following the criticism, the duo reportedly visited E-Money at his residence to apologise for their actions.
Reacting to the situation, E-Money expressed displeasure over the incident, noting that it was disappointing especially because the vehicle had only recently been gifted. However, he appeared to take a forgiving stance.
In a surprising move, he gifted Peller a brand new Toyota Corolla, while issuing a stern warning not to mishandle the vehicle. He also gave Carter Efe $5,000 to repair the damaged car.
He said in part:
“In less than 24 hours, e no good o. Na love. But then mistakes don happen. Let such mistake no happen again. Where Yusuf? Oya if Peller dey go make Una give am one Corolla. Make you no go break am o.”
The development has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with many praising E-Money’s generosity while others continue to debate the initial incident.
