Nigerian filmmaker Onyeka Nwelue has dismissed rumours surrounding the marriage of former Big Brother Naija stars Teddy A and Bamike Olawunmi, popularly known as Bambam.
Speculation erupted after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Observers also pointed out that Teddy A appeared to have removed photos of Bambam from his page. During the festive season, he shared several solo photos, which further fueled breakup rumours.
However, Onyeka Nwelue, who says he is close to the family, took to Twitter to clarify the situation and shut down the claims.
He wrote:
“Hello, folks!
Teddy A and Bambam are still together.
Nothing has happened to their marriage.This coming together took me to Dubai to witness, and it was the last wedding I attended.
I chat with this family every day, when I get the time.
Stop spreading lies.”
His statement reassured fans that the couple’s marriage remains intact despite online speculation.
Teddy A and Bambam met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija and later got married in 2019, holding their white wedding in Dubai. Over the years, they have remained one of the show’s most visible and admired couples.
While social media activity often sparks assumptions, Nwelue’s clarification suggests that the rumours may have been based solely on online interpretations rather than any real marital crisis.
