South African DJ and media personality Gogo Skhotheni, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, has shared joyful news with her fans—she is expecting a baby boy.
The popular DJ took to Instagram to reveal the pregnancy through a breathtaking maternity photoshoot, accompanied by an emotional caption reflecting on her journey from loss to renewed hope.
“From heartbreak to hope… From life loss. My rainbow baby,” she wrote.
In the striking photos, Gogo Skhotheni looked radiant in a dramatic black mermaid-style gown that beautifully accentuated her baby bump. The elegant dress hugged her curves before flaring into a long, flowing train, while a bold cut-out design placed her growing bump at the center of attention.
The outfit was styled with oversized white ruffled sleeves and a wide black hat that partially covered her face, giving the photoshoot a glamorous high-fashion aesthetic. She completed the look with gold earrings, adding a refined, elegant touch.

The pregnancy carries a deeply emotional meaning for the DJ. In 2024, Gogo Skhotheni experienced a heartbreaking loss when her three-year-old son, Monde Jr Shange, passed away after a prolonged battle in the ICU.
She is also a mother to her five-year-old daughter, Liyana Shange.
