“Still Under Close Care” — Gabrielle Henry Leaves Hospital Four Months After Miss Universe Fall

Gabrielle Henry Leaves Hospital Four Months After Miss Universe Fall

Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, has been discharged from the hospital four months after a shocking fall during the Miss Universe stage presentation, marking a major step in her recovery journey.

The update was confirmed by pageant organizers Mark McDermoth and Karl Williams in a statement to The Gleaner, where they revealed that Henry is now out of the hospital but remains under close medical supervision.

According to the organizers, the beauty queen is still in a delicate phase of recovery and has not resumed her official duties.

“She has not yet returned to active Miss Universe Jamaica duties; therefore, no interviews nor official appearances are currently on her itinerary,” they said.

The development was also confirmed by representatives of Miss Universe Jamaica, who noted that while her condition has improved, she continues to receive ongoing care and monitoring from her medical team.

In the months following the incident, Henry has shared limited updates with her followers. In February, she posted one of her most detailed updates, showing images of herself resting in a hospital bed alongside a video of her using a stationary bike, indicating gradual physical recovery.

Her release from the hospital signals progress, though her full return to public life and pageant responsibilities is expected to take more time as she continues rehabilitation.
