Nigerian gospel singer Judikay and her husband, Anselem Opara, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Shekinah Opara.
The singer shared the joyful news on Instagram, revealing that their daughter was born on February 14, 2026.
“On the 14th of February 2026, we welcomed our second baby: Shekinah Umechukwu Opara; The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord. She is God’s literal love gift to us… Have you seen the Lord fail? Jesus has the final (scratch that) ONLY say,” she wrote.
The announcement carries deep emotional significance, coming after Judikay previously opened up about experiencing six miscarriages over the years.
In a recent testimony, she recounted how her sixth pregnancy loss in February 2025 began with cramps and light bleeding that later worsened. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors performed a Dilation and curettage after confirming a missed miscarriage.
The singer described the experience as deeply painful, revealing that while she remained outwardly grateful, she struggled with emotional pain in private moments.
Now, the birth of her daughter marks a powerful moment of healing and joy for the family.
Judikay and her husband got married in November 2020 and welcomed their first child, a son, in March 2022.
Known for her impactful gospel music, including her hit song More Than Gold, Judikay continues to inspire many with her faith and resilience, as fans celebrate this new chapter in her life.
