Reality TV star Angel Smith has reaffirmed her identity following reports of her wedding to partner Tumininu in the United States.
The former Big Brother Naija finalist addressed the buzz on X, clarifying that her identity has never been hidden.
“And I have been openly queer before AND after I went for that show, please never attribute my greatness to a man, he could never have made me this cool,” she wrote.
Her statement comes as videos and photos from what appears to be an intimate white wedding ceremony began circulating online. The event, reportedly held in the US, featured a minimalist setting with guests dressed in an all-black theme.
In clips shared on Snapchat, Tumininu was seen in a tailored black suit paired with a white shirt and bow tie, while Angel wore a simple white strapless mini dress with a veil and heels.
The couple first made their relationship public in 2025, sharing moments together online, and are said to have held a civil ceremony earlier this year before the reported celebration.
Before this, Angel was romantically linked to fellow reality TV star Soma Anyama. Their relationship began during the BBNaija All Stars edition in 2023 and ended in early 2024.
Angel’s response has since sparked conversations online, with many focusing on her stance on identity, self-expression, and public perception.
