Blessing CEO Deactivates Instagram Account After Doctor Challenges Cancer Claims

Blessing CEO Reacts as Partner IVD Is Arrested at Airport While Allegedly Attempting to Flee Nigeria

Controversial social media personality Blessing CEO, also known as Blessing Okoro, has deactivated her Instagramaccount following intense scrutiny over her cancer diagnosis claims.

The development comes after a heated interview on Arise Television on April 4, where medical doctor Adefunke Arowolo publicly questioned the validity of her statements, describing many of them as medically inaccurate.

During the interview, Dr. Arowolo disclosed that she had contacted the pathologist whose name appeared on the report presented by Blessing. According to her, the doctor—said to be based in Asaba—denied any knowledge of the report and stated he had not been in Enugu recently.

“I know that for an absolute fact,” Dr Arowolo said on TV.

The situation became more contentious when it was revealed that the medical report shown during the interview matched one already circulating online, which Blessing CEO had previously denied releasing. Allegations also surfaced that the document may have been altered from another individual’s medical record.

Following the interview, calls grew on social media for authorities to investigate the matter, with some Nigerians accusing the influencer of misleading the public in order to solicit funds.

Shortly after the backlash intensified, Blessing CEO’s Instagram account—previously followed by over 1.4 million users—was no longer accessible, displaying a “no user found” message.
