Actress Sunshine Rosman has raised alarm over the state of the nation, sharing an emotional video in which she spoke about rising insecurity and economic hardship across Nigeria.
In the clip posted on her Instagram story, the actress appeared visibly distressed as she questioned what she described as silence and inaction in the face of ongoing challenges.
“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough?” she said, expressing frustration over multiple issues affecting citizens.
She pointed to poverty, poor infrastructure and the displacement of communities due to insecurity, particularly in parts of Northern Nigeria where recurring attacks have forced many residents to flee their homes.
According to her, the continued loss of lives and the response to it raise serious concerns about the country’s direction, stressing that the situation should not be seen as normal.
Her comments come amid growing national concern over the rising cost of living, inflation and persistent security challenges in several regions.
In recent months, more public figures have used their platforms to speak out on these issues, reflecting a broader wave of concern and calls for improved security, governance and living conditions across the country.
