Tyla is taking her sophomore album on the road, and Nigerian fans finally have a date to circle. The Grammy-winning singer announced her A*POP World Tour on Monday via Instagram, unveiling a 34-date run that marks her first full headlining tour across North America, Europe, the UK, and Africa combined.
The tour kicks off October 12 in Paris, before working through a European and UK leg that includes Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen.
From there, Tyla crosses into North America on November 12, opening in Wheatland, California, before hitting cities including Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, New York, Washington DC, Houston, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
The tour wraps in Africa, and this is where things get personal for Nigerian fans. Tyla will perform in Lagos on December 22, marking her first headline show in the city, before closing the entire run with two dates in her home country: Cape Town on January 4 at Green Point Track and Johannesburg on January 9 at the Expo Centre in Nasrec.
The tour arrives in direct support of A*POP, Tyla’s second studio album, released just days earlier on July 24. The 14-track project leans further into the genre fluidity that has defined her sound since breaking through, blending Amapiano, R&B, dancehall, and house.
It features collaborations with Zara Larsson on “She Did It Again,” alongside South African Amapiano artists Babalwa M and MaWhoo, plus Liquideep.
This run represents a significant scale-up from where Tyla was even a year ago. Her debut Tyla Tour in support of her self-titled first album ran across ten shows between late 2024 and mid-2025, and she followed that with the We Wanna Party Tour, an eight-date run through Asia in late 2025 promoting her EP WWP.
The A*POP World Tour dwarfs both in scope, reflecting how quickly her audience has expanded since “Water” first went viral in 2023 and earned her the 2024 Grammy for Best African Music Performance, a category she went on to win again in 2026, beating out Burna Boy, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Davido, and Omah Lay.
Ticketing details are already in motion. North American presale opens Wednesday, July 29, at 10am local time through Laylo, with general on-sale following on Friday, July 31.
Venue details for the Lagos show have not yet been confirmed, though dates for Cape Town and Johannesburg have locked in specific arenas.
For Nigerian fans who’ve watched Tyla’s rise from a distance since “Water” first took over timelines, December 22 now gives them something concrete to look forward to, a homecoming of sorts for an artist whose sound has always carried unmistakable West and Southern African DNA, even as it’s found a global audience far beyond the continent.
