Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, a Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host, has stated that he is a success solely because his bad marriage ended.
He stated this while agreeing with Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu, who stated that a broken marriage is a celebration of freedom from a bad decision and pain.
Daddy Freeze initially shunned pastors who make people feel like failures for walking out of toxic marriages and further wrote: “…I’m a success today because my bad marriage ended, not otherwise…”

After their union birthed two beautiful children, Daddy Freeze and his first wife, Opeyemi got divorced in 2014 over allegations of adultery and domestic violence. However, following his crashed marriage, Daddy Freeze eventually tied the knot with his baby mama, Benedicta Elechi in September 2022. The couple hosted their family and close friends at a secret wedding ceremony in the UK.
