Ayodeji Balogun, commonly known as Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar musician, has described women as “God on Earth.”
He believes that “God is definitely a woman.”
The Starboy boss stated that his music is meant to celebrate women of various cultures, emphasising that he was nurtured around “strong women.”
This was said by Wizkid in a recent interview with the Evening Standard UK.
He said, “To me, women are God on earth. God is definitely a woman, for sure. What’s more powerful than creating a life? My music is here to make women feel good from all cultures. It celebrates them. They’re valued.
“I was raised around strong women, so it means I cater more for women with my sound, you know? Being raised by women made me understand their full range of emotions. It is a beautiful thing.”
