Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress presidential candidate in the previous general elections, has reacted after the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, was hauled to the Federal High Court in Lagos State today.
Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, appeared in court for his arraignment on a two-count charge of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
It was also reported by Channels Television that “The secret police, DSS, and the prison officials clashed over the agency to take custody of the suspended and embattled apex bank chief after Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court in Lagos admitted Emefiele to bail in the sum of the N20m”.
