Why we lost 3-2 to Man Utd – Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has spoken out over his team’s recent 3-2 loss to Manchester United in a Tuesday night match.

Aston Villa started well at Old Trafford, leading by two goals thanks to scores from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker.

Despite Villa’s strong start, Manchester United mounted a stunning comeback in the second half. Alejandro Garnacho spearheaded the recovery, scoring twice and contributing greatly to United’s exciting triumph.

“Disappointed,” Emery stated after the game. We were in command of the game after the first half, roughly 60 minutes.

“How we conceded, with the error in the middle, the crowd changes, the atmosphere is so much better for them, pushing them, the crowd goes up.”

“Even then, we reacted, and John McGinn and Leon Bailey had excellent chances.” Those were also crucial occasions.”
