Tickets for Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘China Tour’ reportedly sold out in just a few hours after being announced on Wednesday.
Chinese football fans quickly scrambled to secure their spot for Ronaldo’s rare appearance in their country through online vendors as soon as it was released.
Ronaldo, who is widely known and admired in China, will be leading Al-Nassr in friendly matches against Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang FC in Shenzhen on January 24 and 28 respectively.
The high demand for tickets caused a frenzy online, with multiple platforms announcing the sold-out status within hours of the tickets going on sale.
