Yvonne Jegede, the Nigerian film actress turned producer, recently opened up about her gratitude for her life despite her failed marriage.
Taking to her Instagram page, she shared heartfelt photos of herself and her son, reflecting on what her life would have been like if she hadn’t given birth before the marriage fell apart.
Yvonne expressed that she would have been consumed by despair, even contemplating suicide, had it not been for her son, whom she considers a blessing from God.
She sent a heartfelt message to her son, acknowledging that he brings completeness and happiness to her life.
Sharing goofy photos, Yvonne Jegede wrote:
“I don’t know what my life would have been without you. Imagine say I no get pikin before the yeye thing scatter. Hmmmm, I for don kee myself. @xavierjegede you make my life complete. You make me happy. I love you die”.
It is worth mentioning that Yvonne Jegede was previously married to Abounce Olakunle Fawole, the father of her son.
Unfortunately, their marriage ended after only a year. Speculations about their separation began when Yvonne moved out of their marital home just three months into her pregnancy.
In a recent interview in 2022, Yvonne Jegede disclosed that her ex-husband has been absent in their son’s life, showing no support or interest as a father figure. Despite these challenges, Yvonne remains grateful for her son and the joy he brings into her life.
