In her caption, Nicki Minaj wrote, “This got “good” around :36, MAGICAL around :46 seconds, & got more & MORE magical W/EVERY passing second until the very last note. My goodness #Naija no de carry last. Thank you to the beautiful, Lucia. This is absolutely GORGEOUS. Play it in your headphones”.
Nicki Minaj’s post made it plain that she was quite thrilled with the violin performance. The song featured in the video was from Nicki Minaj’s most recent album, ‘Pink Friday’. This album rose to the top of the charts in the weeks after its release.
This isn’t Nicki Minaj’s first engagement with Nigerians; she appeared on Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album, which earned rave reviews. Since then, Nicki Minaj has occasionally shown her admiration for Nigeria.
