Basketmouth, the well-known Nigerian comedian, professionally known as Bright Okpocha, recently revealed that he accepted a role in the highly successful film ‘Brotherhood’ in order to challenge himself as an actor.
Although acting isn’t his primary focus, he expressed openness to future screen opportunities if he receives a compelling script.
In a recent online interview, Basketmouth shared that the year 2024 holds great importance for him, as he has an array of thrilling projects slated for release.
“I featured in Brotherhood because I was curious to see if I could pull it off, and I want to believe I did. I just might take a shot at acting again when I get a good script with a daring character.
“I have some exciting projects coming up. My team and I have been working tirelessly for a couple of years now preparing for 2024.
“I have been a comedian for 25 years now, and I believe it is time to explore new opportunities in movies and music,” he said.
