Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian footballer, has once again voiced his disapproval of fans cyberbullying his colleague, Alex Iwobi, following their loss in the AFCON finals.
Alex Iwobi had faced relentless trolling from Nigerians who blamed him for the defeat, leading him to delete his social media account.
Osimhen and other Super Eagles’ stars showed their support and love for Iwobi.
In a recent interview, Osimhen reiterated his condemnation of this behavior, urging Nigerian fans to improve.
He stressed that football players are also human beings and should be given constructive criticism.
Osimhen also mentioned that the team has reached out to Iwobi and he is committed to giving his best for the country.
