Renowned singer Simi Kosoko, known for her numerous accolades, claps back at a social media user who criticized her latest song and labeled her as lazy.
Simi, who is married to fellow singer Adekunle Gold, had been teasing her first single of the year, “All I Want,” for several days before its official release.
Shortly after dropping her new song, a critic, potentially a fan, gave an unsolicited review calling it lazy and urging Simi to evolve as an artist. The Twitter user expressed disappointment in Simi’s recent work, deeming it subpar.
In her words, “I really need Simi to evolve as an artist. She’s stressing me with her new songs. It feels lazy.”
In response, Simi remained unfazed and posted a video of herself dancing to her new single, shrugging off the fan’s negative opinion.
