KWAM 1 has once again refuted claims of infidelity and marital issues, marking the third time in two years that the Fuji music star has addressed such rumors.
He has also dismissed speculation about his marriage to Emmanuela Ropo, which has been the subject of scrutiny since their highly publicized union nearly three years ago.
The first controversy arose in April 2022 when KWAM 1 denied accusations of cheating and being slapped by his wife.
In 2023, a video of him rejecting a kiss from Emmanuella at his 66th birthday party sparked rumors of trouble in paradise, which he promptly denied.
The most recent scandal involves allegations of an affair between KWAM 1 and socialite Folake Ibile.
The singer clarified that he is not married to Ms Ibile and dismissed the claim as false, emphasizing that their only connection is a shared surname.
The 67-year-old Fuji star confirmed that his marriage to Emmanuella remains intact.
He said, “Let it be clear: K1 and his wife enjoy a strong and harmonious marriage, untouched by the lies and rumours of malicious sources. They are deeply devoted to each other and without any insinuation of discord.
“K1 turned 67 on the 3rd of March 2024, and he and his stunning wife shared the day in love and harmony in a low-key ceremony.”
