The Super Eagles frontman, who was making his 22nd appearance, has 13 goals and three assists this season.
Paolo Dybala scored the opening goal in the 59th minute to hush the home crowd before Olivera equalized for Napoli in the 64th minute.
Osimhen made it 2-1 for the visitor after calmly converting a penalty in the 84th minute.
But Roma equalized in the 89th minute through Tammy Abraham.
The draw means Napoli is 8th with 52 points, while Roma is 5th with 58 points.
