Police arrest intruder outside Drake's Toronto home

An individual who made an attempt to unlawfully enter was apprehended outside the residence of Drake a day subsequent to the incident where his security personnel was fired upon at the same premises.

The law enforcement authorities in Toronto revisited the lavish property of the musician situated in Toronto, Canada during the afternoon of Wednesday due to an individual trying to intrude.

“Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property,” a police spokesperson told Toronto’s CityNews. “The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.”

The occurrence involving the intruder transpired the day following the shooting of one of Drake’s security guards who was stationed at the entrance of the estate around 2am on Tuesday. The injured party is presently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

Paul Krawczyk, the Duty Inspector of the Toronto Police, mentioned on Tuesday that the presence of the Canadian rapper at his residence during the occurrence of the drive-by shooting was uncertain.

Additionally, he pointed out that it is premature to ascertain if there is any correlation between the incident and the ongoing rap conflict between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Recent exchanges of diss tracks between the two artists have included progressively cutting remarks. In his track “Not Like Us” released last week, Lamar accused Drake of engaging in sexual misconduct and featured an image of Drake’s residence from Google Maps as the cover art.

Drake refuted these accusations in his rebuttal track “The Heart Part 6” on Sunday.

Questlove, a prominent member of The Roots, shared his perspective on the rap feud through a critical post on Instagram earlier this week.

“Nobody won the war. This wasn’t about skill,” he wrote. “This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary – women & children (& actual facts) be damned. Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip-hop is truly dead.”
