Ubi Franklin, a talent manager and friend of music singer Davido, has responded to his nasty custody fight with his first babymama, Sophia Momodu.
Davido and Sophia have been involved in a bitter custody battle over their 8-year-old daughter.
A few days before his wedding, Davido filed a lawsuit seeking joint custody of his daughter, alleging Sophia was denying him access to her and extorting money from him.
Sophia reacted to the complaint by discrediting his claims, revealing that Davido had never attempted to meet with Imade and had abandoned her because she refused to have sex with him.
In new reports from their ongoing custody battle, Sophia had filed a 102-paragraph affidavit to oppose the singer seeking joint custody of their daughter, citing reasons such as the death of his son, Ifeanyi, his controversial lifestyle and his love for using their daughter to get back at her as reasons for opposing him.
Ubi wrote on his Instagram account that individuals weighing in on the situation should never criticize a pain they have never experienced. He prayed for God’s blessings and strength, acknowledging that parenting is a difficult journey.
“Never judge a pain you have never experienced. This fatherhood fight is not simple; we seek God’s blessings and strength.”
