Janet Murguía, president and CEO of UnidosUS, has announced that President Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid-19.
Joe Biden, who was supposed to speak at the organization’s conference in Las Vegas, expressed his disappointment at not being able to attend.
“The president has been at many events as we all know and he just tested positive for Covid,” Murguía told attendees.
CNN reports that the president, 81, was scheduled to take the stage an hour and a half before the event.
