Former U.S. President Joe Biden has reportedly undergone surgery for skin cancer, his spokesperson confirmed in an interview with NBC News, according to a report by Sky News.
This comes just months after Biden was diagnosed in May 2025 with prostate cancer, an aggressive form that had already spread to his bones.
The diagnosis followed a routine physical on May 16, 2025, during which doctors noted urinary symptoms and discovered a prostate nodule. A subsequent biopsy confirmed prostate adenocarcinoma.
Despite the seriousness of the diagnosis, the former president’s office reassured the public that the cancer is hormone-sensitive, meaning it can be effectively managed with ongoing treatment.
