Billboard faced backlash on social media from Nigerians after incorrectly crediting American rapper Wiz Khalifa instead of Wizkid for a collaboration with Shenseea.
The mistake in the promotional post on Instagram sparked mixed reactions, with some fans of Davido poking fun at Wizkid for the blunder.
A fan wrote:
“Even Billboard no sabi Wizkid again. Wiz Khalifa ke”.
This led to a heated online exchange between Davido’s fanbase known as 30BG and Wizkid FC, defending the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner.
