Nicki Minaj has resolved a legal dispute with a woman who spread false information about her.
The rapper successfully won a defamation lawsuit against a gossip blogger known as Nosey Heaux, who falsely claimed Minaj was using illegal drugs.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Marley Green has agreed to publicly apologize for spreading lies about Minaj being a drug user. The settlement states that Green admitted to fabricating the claims and acknowledges that she had no evidence to support her allegations.
Nicki Minaj filed the lawsuit in September 2022 after Green posted a defamatory video online. The settlement also addresses Green’s inappropriate comments about Minaj’s son, as the rapper accused Green of making disrespectful remarks about her family.
Overall, Minaj has emerged victorious in the lawsuit against the gossip blogger who attempted to tarnish her reputation with unfounded accusations.
In the settlement, Green agrees to never mention Petty or Minaj’s son ever again, or say anything more about Nicki and cocaine. Nor can she repost any comments about Minaj doing anything illegal or unethical.
If Green breaches the agreement, she is obliged to pay Minaj $50,000 (£38,000) for each offence.
