DSS Arrests Ex-BBC Editor Adejuwon Soyinka at Lagos Airport

Adejuwon Soyinka, the Regional Editor, West Africa of The Conversation Africa and the Pioneer Editor of the BBC Pidgin Service, has been reportedly arrested by officers of the Department of State Security (DSS) in Lagos.

Soyinka was taken into custody at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 5:40 AM on Sunday, August 25, 2024, shortly after arriving in Nigeria via a Virgin Atlantic flight from the United Kingdom.
