Nigerian resident doctors suspend strike, resume work

Nigerian Doctors March Against Abduction Of Colleague Kidnapped In Cross River, Vow Daily Protests

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has instructed its members to end their seven-day nationwide warning strike and return to work starting today (Monday).

The strike was called in protest of the abduction of Dr. Ganiyat Popoola, a registrar at the National Eye Centre in Kaduna.

NARD has stated that they will assess the Federal Government’s efforts to address their demands over the next three weeks.
