A real estate company has denied claims made by fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu, mother of Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, that she is the owner of a luxurious house she recently showcased online.
Sophia Momodu posted a video on Snapchat on September 20, giving a tour of the property she implied she had just purchased.
The real estate company associated with the house quickly released a statement refuting Momodu’s ownership of the property, sparking confusion and speculation among online followers.
In their statement, the company clarified, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence.”
