The renowned American singer, Chris Brown, has articulated that he shall forever cherish the memory of his Nigerian counterpart, Wizkid, throughout his existence.
In a video shared by luthortv, Chris Brown referred to Wizkid as his ‘brother for life’ in recognition of the benevolent actions he has extended towards him in the past.
Expounding on his sentiments, Chris Brown elucidated that he has dedicated his life to performing across America but had not set foot in the UK until Wizkid graciously invited him to his concert at the O2 arena in 2021.
He further remarked that Wizkid graciously covered his expenses, leaving him astonished by the profound affection displayed towards him.
“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America and had not gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his 02 Arena concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life.”
It is noteworthy that Brown was prohibited from entering the UK in 2009, subsequent to his admission of guilt regarding an assault on his then partner, Rihanna.
In 2010, the UK government allegedly referenced his conviction as the basis for denying him entry, a situation that significantly hampered his capacity to perform in the country for a considerable period.
