Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin echoed the same sentiment, adding, “We needed more fight and creativity.”
Madrid now sits in 17th place with three points from two group-stage matches.
Ancelotti emphasized the need for improvement, stating, “We shouldn’t look for excuses.”
One bright spot was Endrick’s first Champions League start, becoming the youngest to do so for Madrid at 18 years and 73 days. “It’s a great feeling, but I’m not happy with the defeat,” he said
